These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiener misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gideon takes a kick to the side of the head.
Gideon's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gideon duly obliges.
Wiener defending well as Gideon loads up on a big left hand.

Gideon fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Wiener to the ground. Gideon is now in Wiener's guard.
