Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hola Aloha (ranked 4621 p4p, 449 weight class) and Greatness Mahmood (ranked 5162 p4p, 468 weight class). Greatness Mahmood is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aloha closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mahmood quickly recovers to half guard.
Mahmood flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Mahmood preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Mahmood throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Aloha is keen to just control but Mahmood is a slippery customer.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Aloha dives in and grabs Mahmood's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mahmood pushes down on Aloha's head and hops out.
Mahmood tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Aloha shoots in for a takedown but Mahmood shows good takedown defense.

Aloha fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mahmood, pushing him back against the cage.
Mahmood is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Aloha to keep the fight standing.

Aloha breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mahmood stuffs the takedown.

Aloha is looking to clinch but Mahmood is avoiding it.
Aloha leaves Mahmood with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Mahmood is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Aloha's half guard.
Aloha knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mahmood on the ground.

Mahmood is nestled in close to Aloha, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Aloha is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Mahmood jumps into side control!

Mahmood throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Aloha's waist but Aloha gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mahmood off to one side.
Aloha appears to be looking for a big counter.

Mahmood feints and as Aloha raises his hands in defense, Mahmood changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Mahmood looks up at the clock and then as Aloha takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Mahmood smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
