Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcellus Legionarius (ranked 2750 p4p, 319 weight class) and Ian Lock (ranked 4417 p4p, 443 weight class). Ian Lock is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ian Lock!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Legionarius throws a head kick that misses.
Lock shoots in but Legionarius avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lock.
Legionarius connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lock. Lock circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A lazy left from Legionarius finds it's target.
Nice takedown defense from Legionarius. No joy for Lock on that attempt.
Marcellus Legionarius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ian Lock.
Lock fails with the takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Legionarius cracks Lock with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Legionarius has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Lock to stand back up!
Lock is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lock looks winded!
Legionarius fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Lock square on the jaw! Damn, Lock is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
