Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zeru Subramaniam (ranked 5613 p4p, 140 weight class) and Nikhil Remao (ranked 6489 p4p, 158 weight class). Nikhil Remao will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Remao shoots in for a takedown but Subramaniam shows good takedown defense.
Remao wants to clinch up but Subramaniam keeps it at a distance.
Subramaniam is looking for a counter combo.
Remao throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Subramaniam gets a clinch.
Remao can't break the clinch.
Subramaniam trying to land knees to the body.
Remao trying to control the position but instead, Subramaniam has worked for underhooks and has pushed Remao into the ropes.

Subramaniam pulls guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Subramaniam has his hands on Remao's head, controlling the position.
Subramaniam wants to sweep here but Remao controlling him for the moment.
Subramaniam will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Remao wants to get up but he can't break Subramaniam's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Subramaniam is on top in guard.

Subramaniam's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Subramaniam advances to half guard.
Remao wants to get back to his feet.
Subramaniam slows the pace down in half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Subramaniam lands a nice short elbow.

Subramaniam seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Remao is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
