Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Afa Sila (ranked 3256 p4p, 341 weight class) and Nomor Gai (ranked 989 p4p, 122 weight class). Sila's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Samoa Joe - Destroyer (Entrance Theme). Gai has chosen Alice Cooper No More Mr. Nice Guy as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sila looks to land a right hand but Gai moved out of range.
Gai feints a counter leg kick.
Gai lands an overhand right.

Sila fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gai on the side of the head.

Sila was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Sila stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gai.

Sila was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
A decent looking cross lands there for Sila.

Gai throws the kick towards the body but Sila avoids it.
Gai displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sila throws out the jab.

Sila misses with a hook. Gai ducked under it nicely.

Gai lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sila drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Gai throws a nice outside leg kick.
Oh Sila is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gai throws a solid leg kick but Sila takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gai.
Sila seems to have got his legs back now.
That kick from Gai tenderised Sila's leg. Sila is trying to keep his angry face on.
Sila walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

and Gai counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gai cracks Sila with a good jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gai is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sila.

Sila is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Gai misses with an uppercut. Sila saw that one coming.

and Gai makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sila lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gai has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gai and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Gai cracks Sila with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The fighters circle momentarily. Gai darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Gai throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nomor Gai dominated that round.
That's time! Sila's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Sila's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gai connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sila scrambles back to his feet.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Sila might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Gai slips a jab from Sila.
Gai throws a hook to the side of Sila's head but Sila sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Sila walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Gai checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gai feints and then cracks Sila's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sila down.

Sila will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Gai drops Sila with a huge uppercut! Sila drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Gai is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
