The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crow lands a leg kick that knocks Kidd off balance momentarily.
Crow lands a glancing blow to the side of Kidd's head.
Kidd misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kidd goes for a double leg but Crow avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Crow continues to drive forward.

Crow instigates a clinch.
Crow scores with a nice hook to the head.
Kidd is trying to drag Crow to the mat but Crow just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stevie Kidd. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kidd goes for a takedown in the clinch but Crow prevents it.
Crow presses Kidd against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Kidd has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Crow regains guard immediately.
Kidd slips nicely into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Crow tries to get to full guard but Kidd has control of the leg.
Kidd tries to pass to full mount but Crow defends it.
Kidd is working hard here to advance position.
Kidd is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Crow!

Crow is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kidd is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Crow is in real trouble.

Kidd is working for a rear naked choke. Crow is not defending it well and Kidd has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Crow refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Crow's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
