Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Crispin Freeman (ranked 2386 p4p, 103 weight class) and Bac Nguyen Xuan (ranked 4023 p4p, 136 weight class). Nguyen Xuan has chosen Cult Of Personality as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Bac Nguyen Xuan acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman clinches.
Nguyen Xuan drops down looking for an ankle pick but Freeman pulls his leg out and moves away.
Freeman moves into the clinch.

Freeman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Freeman closes the distance and clinches.
Nguyen Xuan tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Freeman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Freeman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Crispin Freeman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bac Nguyen Xuan.
Freeman shoots in for a double leg but Nguyen Xuan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Freeman has closed the distance and engaged Nguyen Xuan in a clinch.

Freeman drops Nguyen Xuan with a big right hand! Freeman charges in looking to finish - Nguyen Xuan manages to keep Freeman in his guard and seems to have recovered somewhat.
Nguyen Xuan is still in real trouble! Can Freeman finish him?
Freeman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nguyen Xuan on the ground.

Freeman gets to his feet and stands over Nguyen Xuan, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Nguyen Xuan felt that one! Freeman unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Nguyen Xuan from any more punishment!
