Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luther Reinhardt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Angulo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reinhardt comes to the cage accompanied by Mein Herz Brennt by Rammstein. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angulo misses with a jab, cross combination.

Reinhardt escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Angulo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Reinhardt working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Angulo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Angulo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Reinhardt has his foot on Angulo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Angulo works his way back into a safe position though.

Reinhardt drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Reinhardt jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Angulo wants to stand but Reinhardt is controlling the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Reinhardt throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Angulo's waist but Angulo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Reinhardt off to one side.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Reinhardt had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Angulo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Reinhardt Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Angulo's back instead.
Reinhardt gets his hands free as Angulo looks to control.
