Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brad Fickett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Lovin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lovin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Legend Of Zelda. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lovin staying out of range there.
Fickett rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lovin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lovin tries to close the distance and clinch but Fickett swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lovin fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lovin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Fickett looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lovin is fending him off so far but Fickett persists. Nope, Lovin circles away and we're back to standing.
Lovin throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Fickett shoots for a double leg takedown but Lovin sprawls well. He's pushed Fickett's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Fickett counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lovin won't be happy with that.

Fickett drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fickett jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Lovin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fickett doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fickett manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fickett stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lovin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fickett accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Lovin will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Fickett swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Good work by Lovin as he checks the leg kick.
Fickett looks to land a left hand but Lovin moved out of range nicely.
Fickett throws out a leg kick but Lovin moves out of range and Fickett only half commits.
Lovin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Fickett shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Lovin is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Fickett gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Fickett misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Lovin throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Lovin scores with a nice strike.
Oh Fickett is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lovin lands an uppercut, right on the button! Fickett tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
