Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rex Gunn (ranked 1282 p4p, 157 weight class) and Tim Sanchez (ranked 3400 p4p, 308 weight class). Sanchez has chosen I'll Never Get Out Of This World Alive as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez misses with an uppercut.
A big right from Sanchez misses.
Sanchez misses with a body shot.
Gunn takes a swing at Sanchez's ribcage but misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sanchez! But no joy.
Sanchez scores with a jab to the jaw.
Gunn thuds a left hand into Sanchez's body.

Gunn misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sanchez.
Sanchez misses with a hook.
Sanchez throws a shot from downtown. Gunn moves away and avoids it.
It looked like Gunn wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Gunn tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sanchez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Gunn fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sanchez, pushing him back against the cage.
Sanchez swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Gunn swings wildly with an uppercut but Sanchez uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gunn blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Gunn lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sanchez looks winded!

Gunn pulls Sanchez in close to his closed guard and prevents Sanchez from doing any damage or advancing position.

Gunn throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Gunn is looking for a triangle but Sanchez pushes his legs off easily.
Gunn wants to hit a switch here but Sanchez passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Gunn there!
Gunn tries to lock up and control but Sanchez gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
