Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marshall Jefferson (ranked 1098 p4p, 142 weight class) and Wang Li (ranked 5957 p4p, 490 weight class). Jefferson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Skrr computers . The crowd seem to be enjoying Li's choice of entrance music: Space Cowboy. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jefferson tries a head kick but it misses.
Jefferson lands with an overhand left.
Jefferson swats away the attempt to clinch by Li.
Li avoids the head kick by Jefferson.
Li tries to clinch up but Jefferson circles away and keeps his distance.
Jefferson keeps the fight on the outside.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jefferson.
Li fails in his attempt to clinch.
Li changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jefferson tries to avoid it but Li manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jefferson to the ground. Jefferson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Li tries to close the distance and clinch but Jefferson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jefferson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A quick step to the side and Jefferson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
