Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Machado (ranked 4485 p4p, 446 weight class) and Luke Vader (ranked 3004 p4p, 352 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luke Vader!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Vader. Those never looked like landing.
Luke Vader seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vader throws a nice looking combination but Machado bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Machado looks for a takedown but Vader sprawls well.
Vader misses with a series of wild punches.
Vader throws a right and a left that both miss.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Machado is defended easily by Vader.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Machado seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Vader gets in close and tags Machado with a short punch that almost sends Machado to the mat! Oh Machado is in big trouble! He turns his back on Vader, trying to create some distance but Vader rushes him, striking wildly and Machado goes down! The referee tackles Vader into the cage to end the fight! Vader is one violent man!
