That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Evan Payton.

That was a close round but I would say that Optimus Rimes will probably get the nod.

Fighter 1 circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Rimes drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Fighter 1 follows Rimes to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Arnold walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Rimes paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.#ROC2#

Rimes closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Arnold! Rimes dives in looking to finish! Arnold is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

An out of breath Optimus Rimes thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.

Khabilov is rocked!
Khabilov shoots for a double leg takedown but Rimes sprawls well. He's pushed Khabilov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rimes has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Khabilov is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Khabilov gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Rimes gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Khabilov is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Optimus Rimes!
A relieved looking Optimus Rimes thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing.
