A less than humble Max Kaz misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

Rose throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Nix connects with a looping right hand.
Nix throws a low kick, looking for Rose's leg but Rose calmly moves out of range.
An attempted straight right counter from Rose misses the target.
Nix throws an off balance right hand
and Nix takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rose stuffs the takedown attempt from Nix. Nix gets slowly back to his feet.
Rose bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rose looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Nix misses with a double jab.
Nix fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

A little feinted left hand from Rose on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Nix has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Rose.

Rose weaves into range and cracks Nix right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Nix goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Rose is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Nix moves into the clinch.
Nix prevents a takedown attempt there.
Illiadis is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
