Ring throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Amp.

and Amp counters with a head kick. That will keep Ring thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Xavier darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Xavier seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Xavier is stalling here. Amp is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Xavier seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Amp has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Amp has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
