Stoic feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well DeSilva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Stoic closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Miller's guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Stoic's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Miller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stoic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Miller looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Salazar misses with a kick to the body.
Stoic walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Stoic slips a jab and a cross from Salazar.
Salazar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stoic paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Salazar feints a jab promting Stoic to slip. Salazar then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Stoic slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
A punch combination from Salazar misses.

and Stoic counters with a shoot takedown. Salazar fights it but they end up in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stoic seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

My spies in The Factory inform me that Stoic has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
