We've been told by Taggart's head coaches at Rabid Dog that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Taggart looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Taggart moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Bryant closes the distance but Taggart moves to the side
and Taggart counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bryant shoots in looking for a takedown. Taggart tries to sprawl out of it but Bryant keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Taggart manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cole Taggart opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Bryant working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Poli is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Phoenix Mixed Martial Arts, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
