Kula swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Elorde throws out a counter right but Kula avoids it with no problem.
Kula misses with a hook
and Elorde counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Kula misses with an uppercut. Elorde saw that one coming.
Elorde keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Elorde works Kula's body with a nice hook.
Kula cracks Elorde with an open hand slap.
Some wild striking there from Elorde.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Elorde has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Elorde is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kula with a body shot.
Elorde takes a jab right on the kisser.

Elorde stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Kula catches Elorde with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kula throws a lazy right hand but Elorde sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Elorde throws a hook to the side of Kula's head but Kula sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Elorde counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Kula finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Elorde's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Kula falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
