Church closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lupee did well to prevent Church getting side control.
Lupee tries to kick Church off in order to stand up. Church Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lupee struggling a bit here.
Lupee tries to control but Church manages to take his back.
I really don't envy Lupee right now.

Church is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Lupee has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Church has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Lupee taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Church doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Gallagher shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lupee as he jumps to the side.

and Lupee counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lupee.
Lupee tries to land a knee to the head but Gallagher blocks with his arms.

Gallagher can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane Gallagher. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lupee lands a left hand that snaps the head of Gallagher backwards. #CUT2#
It looks like Shane Gallagher has been cut.
Gallagher tries to pull guard but Lupee holds him up against the cage and eventually Gallagher drops back down to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lupee arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Gallagher's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
