Eerkilaa takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Shamrock uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Eerkilaa has time to react.
Shamrock moves out of range as Eerkilaa strikes.
Shamrock throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Shamrock cracks Eerkilaa on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Eerkilaa falls backwards against the cage. Shamrock follows up with more strikes that drop Eerkilaa to his knees. Shamrock keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Eerkilaa! This one is all over!

He tries to recover but Shamrock pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Lau is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Shamrock has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chapel switches off momentarily and Shamrock cracks him with a monster right hand! Chapel topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Shamrock dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Shamrock!
