Dim tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Peebles swivels and escapes.
Peebles misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dim throws a series of punches but Peebles moves out of range.
Dim with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Dim tries for a takedown but Peebles sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Vaughn Peebles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dim Dim.

In his post fight interview, Vaughn Peebles started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Peebles fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Grossweiner sprawls well initially but Peebles persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Peebles prevents Grossweiner from improving his position.
Grossweiner has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Peebles is working away from the top position though.
Grossweiner is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Soul Supremacy Rio, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Grossweiner moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Peebles got a little sloppy there for a moment and Grossweiner has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Peebles has managed to get both his arms back between Grossweiner's legs - danger averted.

Djuretic unleashes a big counter combination but Peebles bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
