Weber misses with a takedown
and Abdoul counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Abdoul keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Weber shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Abdoul sprawls well. Abdoul wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Weber gets slowly back to his feet.
Yannick Abdoul has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Weber.
Abdoul shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Weber pinned against the cage. Weber gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Weber tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Weber looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.#TD2#
Weber feints and as Abdoul raises his hands in defense, Weber changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2#
Weber drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Abdoul dives on top into guard.#REVR#
Abdoul is breathing heavily.

Weber working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Abdoul doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Abdoul manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Abdoul is looking to work some ground and pound but Weber has wrist control.

Weber has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Abdoul doesn't defend quickly enough and Weber has managed to lock this one up! Can Abdoul escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Weber on a fantastic submission victory.

Michael Weber spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Abdoul darts in looking for a takedown but Taro gets double underhooks and turns Abdoul into the cage.
Abdoul misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A swing and a miss from Taro.
Taro lands a jab-cross combination.
Taro ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Abdoul misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Taro appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Abdoul tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Taro lands a nice looking body shot.
Abdoul showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Taro.
Abdoul takes a body punch but keeps moving.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Taro swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Abdoul.
Taro stuns Abdoul with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Yannick Abdoul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Taro throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Abdoul stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Taro scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Abdoul walks into a stiff left hand from Taro.
Taro seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Abdoul gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Taro gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
