Pit Mies decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Provodnikov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from OQuinn.
Provodnikov is looking for a counter combo.
The fight stays on the outside here - Provodnikov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

OQuinn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
We've been informed that OQuinn has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Green stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Green wants it to stay on the feet.

Provodnikov is trying to maintain the position but Green is very close to passing his half guard.
Provodnikov has hold of Green's hands but Green slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Green has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Provodnikov is squirming around, avoiding Green's attempts to control the action.
Green has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#T1##SUB#
Green is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Provodnikov is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Provodnikov flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Green anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Provodnikov and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Green slips an arm under Provodnikov chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Green has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Green is squeezing on Provodnikov like an anaconda would it's prey. Provodnikov fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
