Gay has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Masters uses from the top position.

Gay is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! It looks like Martin Dahlin has been cut.
Masters tries to grapple but his opponent circles #TD2#
and Dahlin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Masters's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Dahlin postures up in Masters's guard and throws a big left but Masters blocks it.
Dahlin is in close to Masters's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Dahlin connects with a couple of short punches.
Dahlin throwing strikes from guard but Masters blocks nicely.
Dahlin with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Masters knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dahlin on the ground.
