Valencia tries to close the distance and clinch but Lungu swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lungu dives in for a single leg takedown but Valencia sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Valencia tries to clinch but Lungu is having none of it.
Despite the aggression on Lungu's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Lungu wobbles Valencia with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Lungu dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Valencia to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Matthew Gates seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Valencia wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Gates throws an overhand right that has Valencia reeling! Gates follows up with more punches and Valencia is out cold! This one is all over!
