Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Huub Huizenaar and Phillip Brooks. Brooks is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Cult of personality . Man, I cannot wait for this one!

In the red corner, competing out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Huub Huizenaar! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Phillip Brooks!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Francis DeMontford and Donatello Bradman.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Brooks closes the distance and clinches.

Huizenaar manages to pull guard.
Brooks trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Huizenaar has an active guard here but Brooks has managed to pass into half guard.

Brooks is trying to control. Huizenaar wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Brooks is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brooks is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Huizenaar defends it well.
Huizenaar moves into full guard.

Huizenaar wants to sweep here but Brooks controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Huizenaar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brooks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brooks manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Huizenaar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brooks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Huizenaar is looking for a triangle but Brooks pushes his legs off easily.

Huizenaar looking for a guillotine here but Brooks defends easily.

Huizenaar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brooks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Huizenaar is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brooks is aware though and is defending well.
Huizenaar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Huizenaar is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Huizenaar is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Brooks frees his head nicely. Oh but Huizenaar has switched to an armbar! Brooks is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

After the fight, Huub Huizenaar was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Brooks has Richards up against the cage in a clinch. #BC2#
Richards's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Richards defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Brooks.
Richards shoots in looking for a takedown but Brooks manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Richards's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Brooks looks to land a combination. Richards sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Brooks misses with a takedown
and Richards counters with a stiff right hand.
Brooks fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Phillip Brooks. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brooks shoots in but Richards avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Richards now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Brooks dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Richards has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.#T1##CL#
Brooks takes the fight into the clinch. #TD2#
Richards has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Brooks clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Richards. #SUB2#
Richards working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Brooks is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Richards has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Brooks taps out!
