Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 wins, 2 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Montreal, Kulap Kamon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 wins, 0 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luiz Gustavo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gustavo rushes Kamon and presses him up against the cage.

Kamon has Gustavo pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kamon pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Gustavo tumbling to the mat - Kamon dives into Gustavo's guard.
Gustavo wants to sweep here but Kamon controlling him for the moment.
Gustavo has his hands on Kamon's head, controlling the position.

Kamon is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gustavo has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Kamon is looking to defend but Gustavo has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Kamon! Gustavo pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kamon taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Luiz Gustavo!
A relieved looking Luiz Gustavo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kamon gets caught flat footed, as Marcelo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kamon not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kamon avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Marcelo won't allow Kamon to sweep him here.
Kamon trying to keep a closed guard but Marcelo is proving a slippery customer.
Kamon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Marcelo controls the pace.
Marcelo stands and throws Kamon's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Marcelo works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Marcelo is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kamon's shoulder. That is not cool.
Kamon is trying to improve his position.
Kamon is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Kamon is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Marcelo lands a few punches from side control.
A lull in the action here as Marcelo stalls from top position.

Marcelo is trying to get an arm triangle but Kamon is defending well.

Marcelo remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Kamon tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Kamon dodges the ground and pound from Marcelo.

Marcelo swings around for an armbar but Kamon sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Marcelo's guard.

Marcelo is looking for a triangle but Kamon pushes his legs off easily.
Marcelo is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Kamon wants to control from the top but Marcelo keeps moving.
Kamon is looking to work some ground and pound but Marcelo has wrist control.

Marcelo scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Marcelo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kamon manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Marcelo is breathing heavily.
Kamon is trying to hold Marcelo in close to prevent damage but Marcelo has managed to pass into half guard.

Kamon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Marcelo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Kamon is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Marcelo is aware though and is defending well.
Kamon is trying to control the position but Marcelo postures up.
Marcelo is in close to Kamon's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Kamon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Marcelo controls the pace.

Marcelo stands up and waves to Kamon to follow him.
Kamon dives in for a single leg takedown but Marcelo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Marcelo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kamon to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Marcelo is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Marcelo breaks from the clinch.
Marcelo leaves Kamon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rodrigo Marcelo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kulap Kamon.
Kamon moves in looking to clinch but Marcelo pushes him off.
Marcelo tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Kamon manages to circle out of the way.

Marcelo closes the distance and clinches.

Marcelo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kamon just misses with a punch to the body.
Rodrigo Marcelo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Marcelo dives in and scores a takedown into Kamon's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Marcelo cracks Kamon with a solid left hand.

Marcelo postures up and lands a big shot to Kamon's brow.

Marcelo is pushing down on Kamon's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kamon is fighting to maintain full guard but Marcelo has managed to sneak the leg through.

That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!



Marcelo gets caught flat footed, as Kamon shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Marcelo has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Kamon has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Kamon is trying to drag Marcelo to the mat but Marcelo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Marcelo jumps into guard, dragging Kamon to the mat.
Kamon is looking to pass into half guard but Marcelo pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Marcelo is in guard.

Marcelo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Marcelo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've been informed that Kamon has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Kamon wants to stand but Marcelo is controlling the position.
Marcelo postures up.
Kamon wants to control but Marcelo passes easily into half guard.
Rodrigo Marcelo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Marcelo is thwarting Kamon's attempts to control the position.
Marcelo prevents Kamon from improving his position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Marcelo prevents Kamon from standing back up.
Kamon wants to control but Marcelo is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Marcelo decides to stand and escape the position.

Kamon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Marcelo moves away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kamon.
Kamon takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Kamon missing with a left hand there. Marcelo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Marcelo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Marcelo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Marcelo has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Kamon controls Marcelo momentarily but Marcelo frees himself.

Kulap Kamon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Rodrigo Marcelo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Kamon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Borjigin swivels and escapes.
Borjigin feints a counter leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kamon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Borjigin throws a leg kick which misses Kamon's front leg but catches the back leg as Kamon tries to avoid it.
Borjigin has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Kamon is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Kamon takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

and Borjigin counters with a thumping low kick.

Kamon looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kulap Kamon. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Borjigin clinches up with Kamon and pushes him back against the cage.

Borjigin works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Kamon is breathing heavily.
Borjigin lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Come on Borjigin - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Borjigin digs a right hand into Kamon's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kamon's gas tank.

Borjigin makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Oh Kamon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Borjigin lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kamon's sensitive parts.
Borjigin dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kamon. That did some damage!
Borjigin fakes the leg kick and cracks Kamon in the body.
Khunbish Borjigin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kamon seems to have got his legs back now.
Borjigin looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Borjigin throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Borjigin scoring well with a low kick there.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Borjigin throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Kamon is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
