Pildersen wants to clinch
and Hawat counters with a one-two to the body.
Pildersen misses with a straight left.
Hawat is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pildersen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hawat changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pildersen tries to avoid it but Hawat manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pildersen to the ground. Pildersen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Pildersen feints a counter leg kick.
Hawat tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pildersen swivels and escapes.
Pildersen wants to counter the offense by Hawat and move into the clinch position.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thufir Hawat. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pildersen misses with a hook. Hawat ducked under it nicely.
Hawat pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hawat shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pildersen as he jumps to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Some bone on bone action there as Hawat checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Hawat lands a jab to Pildersen's midsection.

Hawat darts in and clinches Pildersen up against the cage.
Pildersen trying to control the position but instead, Hawat has worked for underhooks and has pushed Pildersen into the cage.
Hawat is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Pildersen is keeping busy.

Hawat breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hawat closes the distance and clinches up with Pildersen, looking for a takedown. Hawat pushes Pildersen against the cage but Pildersen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Pildersen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hawat lands the left hand.
Pildersen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hawat sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hawat steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pildersen.
Hawat swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hawat avoids the body shot from Pildersen.
Pildersen misses with a straight left.
Hawat changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Pildersen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hawat to the mat! Hawat manages to get full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pildersen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hawat has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pildersen has managed to get both his arms back between Hawat's legs - danger averted.

Hawat fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pildersen, pushing him back against the cage.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

A close round but Armas Pildersen will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hawat had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pildersen defends it easily.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pildersen crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hawat - the referee stops the clock and Pildersen gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hawat. Pildersen manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.#T2#

A frustrated look appears on Hawat's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Hawat drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pildersen pulls his leg out and moves away.
Pildersen throws a hook to the side of Hawat's head but Hawat sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pildersen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pildersen shoots in for a double leg but Hawat sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Hawat has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pildersen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Pildersen chips away with some ground and pound.

Thufir Hawat dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Pildersen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hawat to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Pildersen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hawat pulls down on the head and he's put Pildersen to sleep! This one is all over!
