Kim is rocked!
Jones creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Kim crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5,6... it doesn't look like he's going to make it! Kim face plants back to the mat and the referee calls off the fight! Jones takes it with a brutal technical knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Kevin Jones!
An out of breath Kevin Jones thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.

A punch lands to the side of Leatherton 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Jab, jab by Kim - just one landing.
Kim getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Kim - that will leave a mark!
Kim punishes Leatherton's body with a nice straight punch.
Leatherton works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.#TD#
Leatherton darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Leatherton wants to work for an arm triangle but Kim is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Leatherton is taking a breather. Kim says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Leatherton seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kim for as long as he can get away with.#T1##SUB#
