Lei lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
No joy there for Lei, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lei shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Chartier counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nice uppercut lands for Chartier. That snapped Lei's head back.
Chartier connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lei. Lei circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Lei looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lei shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chartier but Chartier pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yang Lei. That's going to take a lot out of him.
An inside leg kick from Chartier misses.
Lei takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Chartier misses with a jab, cross combination.
Chartier misses with a low kick.
Chartier cracks Lei with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Chartier throws a leg kick but Lei sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Chartier drops Lei with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Lei! Chartier dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
