Sauzer bounces back off the cage towards Barksdale, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Barksdale lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Barksdale celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Barksdale scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Barksdale slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Henriques shoots in but no luck this time.
Nelson Henriques seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barksdale swinging wildly here.
Barksdale stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Barksdale wants it to stay on the feet.
Henriques goes for a double leg but Barksdale avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Barksdale continues to drive forward.
Avon Barksdale has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nelson Henriques.
Barksdale thuds a left hand into Henriques's body.

A lazy left from Barksdale finds it's target.
Henriques shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Barksdale as he avoids it easily.
Henriques is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Barksdale just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Henriques has gone limp and this one is over!

Sanchez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown #KD2#
and Barksdale counters with a crisp one two that drops Sanchez! Barksdale thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Sanchez to his feet! Sanchez is in big trouble!
Sanchez avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Barksdale misses with a double jab.
Sanchez thinks about countering with a head kick.
Barksdale throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Barksdale connects with a combination that backs up Sanchez into the cage. Barksdale lands a flurry of punches that gets past Sanchez's guard. Sanchez is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Barksdale bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
