Siffredi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Siffredi cracks Pao with an open hand slap.
Pao uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Siffredi.
Pao tries to score a power double leg takedown but Siffredi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pao somewhat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Conrad prevents a body shot from Pao.
Pao jumps guard but Conrad stands there with Pao around his waist. Pao gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Pao is trying to pull guard but Conrad has him pressed against the cage.
Pao tries to throw a body punch but Conrad avoids it by throwing Pao back against the cage. #TD2#
Conrad has hold of one of Pao's legs. Pao is fighting the takedown attempt but Conrad gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Conrad is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Zheglov lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Pao tries to clinch up but Zheglov circles away and keeps his distance.

Zheglov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Pao has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.#T1#

Lombardi tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Pao defends well and Lombardi ends up having to push Pao into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Lombardi sets himself, and Pao steps forward looking for the clinch! Lombardi avoids it this time.
Lombardi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pao sprawls well. Pao wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lombardi gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Lombardi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
