Lazenra throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gabriel.
Gabriel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gabriel misses with a straight right.
Gabriel tries to clinch up.

Gabriel fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

It looked like Lazenra was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Gabriel shoots in but no luck this time.

David Lazenra has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Elton Gabriel.

Gabriel throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lazenra was covering up waiting for the punch and Gabriel finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Lazenra is trying to control the position but Gabriel postures up.
Gabriel distracts Lazenra with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Gabriel wants to get up but he can't break Lazenra's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. #REF3#
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Gabriel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lazenra tries to avoid it but Gabriel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lazenra to the ground. Lazenra escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lazenra misses with a wild combination.
Gabriel tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lazenra paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lazenra looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gabriel shoots in looking for a takedown but Lazenra manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gabriel's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gabriel lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lazenra has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lazenra and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Lazenra will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Well, if Gabriel is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

David Lazenra decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

Gabriel tries to pull guard but Bulkin holds him up against the cage and eventually Gabriel drops back down to his feet.
Gabriel tries a body shot but Bulkin blocks it.

Gabriel pulls Bulkin in close to his closed guard and prevents Bulkin from doing any damage or advancing position.
