Fjeld tries to close the distance and clinch but Serrano swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Serrano swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
We've been hearing reports that Serrano has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Serrano's coach down at Komplete MMA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Serrano's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Serrano is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Kerchev seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Serrano does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
