Despite the aggression on Rockwell's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Zioa misses with a kick to the body
and Rockwell counters with a straight right hand.
Zioa misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Rockwell to counter with a crisp jab.
Zioa with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rockwell to score with a decent uppercut.
Zioa fails with the takedown
and Rockwell counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.#ROC2#
Zioa is rocked!
Rockwell throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rockwell listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Oh Zioa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zioa takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Zioa seems to have got his legs back now.
Rockwell has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Zioa is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Rockwell cracks Zioa with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Zioa falls to his knees and Rockwell doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Chest Rockwell thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Meese lands a left and a right that send Zioa crashing to the mat, dazed. Meese thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC#

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Meese is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Zioa hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Georges Meese spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Zioa hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Zioa tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Zioa lands with a shot to the body.
Maidana dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Zioa. That did some damage!
Maidana tests Zioa's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Maidana connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.#TD2#
Zioa gets a double leg takedown into Maidana's guard.

Maidana has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Zioa is really squeezing tight and eventually Maidana passes out! Zioa breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
