Turner is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been told by Turner's head coaches at Iron Joe's Boxing Gym ($800/wk) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Turner is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Schmidt is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Schmidt flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Turner anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Schmidt and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Turner slips an arm under Schmidt chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Turner has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Turner is squeezing on Schmidt like an anaconda would it's prey. Schmidt fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Josh Turner!
After winning the bout, Josh Turner thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Jorens lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Jorens dips a shoulder and cracks Schmidt with a mighty uppercut! Schmidt falls back against the cage and Jorens unloads with a barrage of strikes! Schmidt is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Jorens screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Jorens!

Schmidt rushes Vang with punches - Vang moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Vang goes down! Schmidt follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
