Mahone bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Scapoli's head backwards.
Mahone missing with a left hand there. Scapoli was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Mahone looks to land a right hand but Scapoli moved out of range.
Mahone misses with a hook. Scapoli ducked under it nicely.
Scapoli half committed to a counter leg kick.

Scapoli looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.

Mahone throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Scapoli stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Mahone is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Mahone is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Laston flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Laston is out cold! Mahone holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Mahone is looking to get back to is feet but Saaim passes into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mahone can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mahone lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Barrera will be OK.

A less than humble Austin Mahone misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

Serrano misses with a takedown attempt - Mahone sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Mahone cracks Serrano with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Serrano falls to his knees and Mahone doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

After the fight, Austin Mahone was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
