Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Petrov engages and cracks Kumari with a massive lead left hook - Kumari tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Petrov is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

A relieved looking Bodgan Petrov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Rush bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kumari's head backwards.
Kumari looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Kumari throws out a leg kick but Rush moves out of range and Kumari only half commits.
Rush steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Kumari is out on his feet! Rush sets himself and nearly takes Kumari's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kumari has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.#BC#

We've been hearing reports that Kumari has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Hammarskjold softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Kumari is out cold! Hammarskjold jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Alfred Hammarskjold spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
