Cartagena will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Diaz closes the distance looking to clinch
and Cartagena counters with a huge left! Diaz is in big trouble! He's backing up but Cartagena isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Diaz from any more damage. A dominating finish by Cartagena!

More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Diaz from any more punishment! Diaz complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
