Mcshrads wants to clinch up but Petrucci keeps it at a distance.
A slow jab from Petrucci misses its intended target.
We've been hearing reports that Mcshrads has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Petrucci misses with a looping right.
Mcshrads shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Petrucci pinned against the cage. Petrucci gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. #TD#
Mcshrads feints and as Petrucci raises his hands in defense, Mcshrads changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mcshrads accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Petrucci turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Mcshrads off and cradles Petrucci's limp body as Mcshrads celebrates with his corner.
