Avila refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Avila's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Time looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Avila is defending well. Time quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Avila has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Time celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Avila has Imus pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Avila pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Imus tumbling to the mat - Avila dives into Imus's guard.#SUB2#
Imus throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Avila escapes and throws Imus's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Imus felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Imus tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Avila wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Avila wants to control but Imus is keeping him busy.

What can Avila do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Grimes.
Avila appears to be looking for a big counter.
Grimes lands with a kick to the temple. Avila shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" #CUT2#
It looks like Walton Avila has been cut.
Grimes lands with a hook. Avila tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Oh Avila is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Avila bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Grimes comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Avila falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Avila was out before he hit the floor!
