White fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brzenk avoids it really well and circles away.
A shot to the liver by Brzenk. Beautiful body shot.
White tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Brzenk swivels and escapes.
White fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brzenk manages to avoid it.
Brzenk thuds a left hand into White's body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
White swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Brzenk counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Brzenk looks to land a left hand but White moved out of range nicely.
Brzenk throws a right hand that misses
and White counters with a three punch combo that has Brzenk backing up. Brzenk nods at White to acknowledge the strikes.#T1#
White swings widly with a right hand
and Brzenk counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.#CUT#
It looks like Juge White has been cut.
Brzenk closes the distance and lands a one-two.
White throws a poor cross that misses
and Brzenk counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Brzenk stuns White with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
White has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Brzenk finds it's way round the side to connect with White's head. #ROC#
White is rocked!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Brzenk knocks White out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

Brzenk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shammerson moves away.
Shammerson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Brzenk counters with a left and a right that stings Shammerson.
Shammerson throws a series of punches but Brzenk moves out of range.
Shammerson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Brzenk defends well and Shammerson ends up having to push Brzenk into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Brzenk leaves Shammerson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
John Brzenk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Torvol Shammerson.

Brzenk throws a jab when Shammerson was well out of range.

Torvol Shammerson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brzenk lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though. #T1#
Shammerson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Shammerson shoots for a double leg takedown but Brzenk sprawls well. He's pushed Shammerson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Brzenk sends Shammerson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Brzenk is motioning to the referee to let Shammerson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Shammerson takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Brzenk drops Shammerson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Shammerson looks back up at him and smiles so Brzenk waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Shammerson walks straight into a right hand from Brzenk - that's dropped him! Brzenk jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Shammerson from any more punishment! Shammerson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Brzenk wants to get back to striking at distance but Sosa won't allow it.
Sosa swings wildly with an uppercut but Brzenk uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sosa lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Brzenk backwards.
A short body shot lands from Sosa as the two fighters clinch.
Sosa lands a body punch in the clinch.

Brzenk is looking to control Sosa's arms but Sosa gets an underhook and turns him. Now Brzenk has his back to the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Sosa.
Sosa creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Brzenk's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Brzenk drops to his knees and Sosa pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Marcello Sosa spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
