and Valens connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hewitt throws a leg kick that misses.
Hewitt looks to clinch
and Valens counters with a nice uppercut.
Valens ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Valens connects with a single shot there.
Valens connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Hewitt tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hewitt with a poor takedown
letting Valens counter with a right hand.
Hewitt misses with a takedown attempt
and Valens cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jan Paul Valens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wally Hewitt.
Valens drops Hewitt with a big left hand! Hewitt is injured, injured bad! Valens jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Armstrong throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. #TD#
Hewitt shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Armstrong felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Hewitt uses his free foot to push down on Armstrong's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Armstrong.
Hewitt is trying to take his opponent's back. #SUB#
Armstrong has left one of his arms exposed and Hewitt doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Armstrong screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Wally Hewitt tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

Hewitt doesn't manage to clinch there - Hall circles away.
Hall lands a nice looking body shot.
Wally Hewitt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hall dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hall's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hewitt under the eye.
Hall cracks Hewitt with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Hall moves into range and connects with a jab.
Hewitt looks for a takedown but Hall sprawls well.
Hewitt is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hewitt gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hall counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!

Gotovina connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
An inside leg kick lands from Gotovina.
Hewitt drops his hands momentarily and Gotovina takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Gotovina misses with a hook. Hewitt ducked under it nicely.
Gotovina has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Soul Supremacy Rio in the buildup to the fight.
Wally Hewitt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gotovina with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Gotovina feints a jab and as Hewitt dips his head, Gotovina unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Hewitt right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Hewitt falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Gotovina smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ante Gotovina decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.

Ellis dives in and scores a takedown into Hewitt's guard.
Ellis trying to control the position from guard on top but Hewitt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hewitt avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Hewitt shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Campbell but Campbell pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Campbell throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Campbell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Campbell tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hewitt sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Campbell somewhat.

That was a close round but I would say that Wally Hewitt will probably get the nod.

Wally Hewitt spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Hewitt dives in and grabs Crazy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Crazy pushes down on Hewitt's head and hops out.

In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
