Tanker doesn't manage to clinch there - English circles away.
English is looking to counter punch.
Tanker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but English paws at him with a jab and circles away.
English was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Tanker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#TD2#
Tanker feints and as English raises his hands in defense, Tanker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.#ES#
English is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Tanker presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. #BC#
English's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.#TD2#
English gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.#ES#
English has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Tanker has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Hugo swats away the attempt to clinch by Tanker.

Hugo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tanker manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hugo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hugo is trying to drag Tanker to the mat but Tanker just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
