Imus has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Haynes doesn't defend quickly enough and Imus has managed to lock this one up! Can Haynes escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Imus on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Max Imus!

Avila darts in and clinches Imus up against the cage.
Imus tries to pull guard but Avila forces him back to his feet, against the cage.#TD#
Avila has Imus pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Avila pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Imus tumbling to the mat - Avila dives into Imus's guard.#SUB2#
Imus throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Avila escapes and throws Imus's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Imus felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Imus tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Avila wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Avila wants to control but Imus is keeping him busy.
Avila knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Imus on the ground.
Imus is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Avila is looking to take a break and control but Imus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Imus has his foot on Avila's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Avila works his way back into a safe position though.

Imus drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Imus as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Avila screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Imus! Nice submission victory there!
