Messie ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A left and a right from Messie both land. Nice combination.
Messie lands with an overhand left.
Messie lands a right hook to the body.
Messie throws a right hand that Nazaryan ducks under and follows up with a left that Nazaryan also avoids with ease.
Good shot there by Messie.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Nazaryan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Messie swivels and escapes.

Messie wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nazaryan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Pantera slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Nazaryan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pantera misses with a looping right.
Nazaryan tries to counter with a takedown but Pantera is quick to defend against it.
Pantera connects with a good right hand that stumbles Nazaryan. Nazaryan circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Nazaryan changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Pantera throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pantera can do anything to dispel that myth.

Nazaryan is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Pantera looks calm but he's in trouble here. Nazaryan gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Pantera is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Nazaryan lets go of the hold and Pantera can pop his arm back in it's socket.
