Jones is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Thompson on the ground.#SUB2#
Thompson is working for a kimura but Jones is defending it quite comfortably.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Jones prevents Tropical from improving his position.
Tropical really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
