Wilkinson is pressed up against the cage. Penn has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wilkinson down to the mat. Wilkinson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Penn has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wilkinson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Edward cracks a nice hook into Penn's ribs.
Edward digs a good hook to Penn's body.
Edward changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Edward shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Penn as he jumps to the side.
Penn lands with a thumping leg kick.
Edward fails with a takedown attempt.
Penn takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Edward avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Edward's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Edward duly obliges.

BJ Penn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Edward.

Edward looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Edward backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Penn's temple! It sends Penn violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Edward celebrates and the doctors try to help Penn!
