Rockatansky ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cotto moves away.
Cotto appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Rockatansky moves out of range as Cotto throws a body kick. #TD#
Rockatansky closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Cotto's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2#
Cotto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rockatansky gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Cotto utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Rockatansky working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cotto's head.
Rockatansky is in close to Cotto's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Cotto has momentary wrist control but Rockatansky slips an elbow through the middle.
Rockatansky looking to pass the guard.
Rockatansky landing some decent shots from guard.
Rockatansky distracts Cotto with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Cotto looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Rockatansky trying to control but Cotto is working from the bottom.

Cotto has momentary wrist control but Rockatansky slips an elbow through the middle.#ROC#
Cotto is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rockatansky gets to his feet and stands over Cotto, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Cotto felt that one! Rockatansky unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Cotto from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Max Rockatansky!

Pantera throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Cotto counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Pantera looks to score with a jab to the body but Cotto is just out of range.
Pantera misses with a few strikes there. #TD#
Pantera closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Cotto manages to get back to half guard.

Our spies down at at The Iron Palace inform us that Cotto has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?#SUB2#
Cotto is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pantera is aware though and is defending well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pantera has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Cotto to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Pantera is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Cotto pulls down on the head and he's put Pantera to sleep! This one is all over!
