Kaede drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Reilly is trying to control Kaede's posture but Kaede avoids it.
The referee asks Kaede politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Kaede prefers to stall for the moment though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
What's Reilly going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
Reilly wants to control but Kaede postures up.#T1#
Kaede looks up at the clock and then as Reilly takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kaede smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kaede feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Kaede changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rashad Reilly. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kaede dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Reilly. That did some damage!
Reilly shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kaede but Kaede pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sloppy strikes from Reilly. Those never looked like landing.
Kaede lands a big head kick that sends Reilly to the canvas! Kaede follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

yi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kaede ducks under a wild hook from yi.
yi scores with a jab to the head.
A left lands for yi.
Kaede has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from yi finds it's way round the side to connect with Kaede's head.
yi throws a body kick that misses
and Kaede counters with a nice leg kick.
Kaede dives in for a single leg takedown but yi sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
yi throws a nice head kick!
Nice jab there from Kaede.
Kaede on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
yi throws a jab when Kaede was well out of range.
Kaede takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Kaede bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
As yi backs away, Kaede returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Jake yi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
You can follow us on Twitter at...Ooooooh yi got wobbled bad by a big combination! Kaede presses forward with punches and knees until yi stumbles to the ground! The ref watches yi closely before deciding to step in and end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Himura Kaede!
